Chemotherapy  Safety in Veterinary Practice - Online Course (2 hours CPD)

This course is for vets, vet nurses and support staff.

Free access to this course is provided for Vet Oncologist customers. 

Safe chemotherapy handling procedures dramatically reduce the risk of adverse health effects to staff preparing and administering treatment.

This course describes procedures for the safe handling of cytotoxic drugs in veterinary practice and is recommended for all staff in practices where chemotherapy is administered.

Course notes are provided as well as a template to assist you in creating a cytotoxic policy for your workplace and a chemotherapy safety handout for pet owners. The course material will be available for one year after enrolment.

Questions can be emailed to the course instructor during the course.

A CPD certificate equivalent to 2 hours CPD is provided on successful completion of the course material and final quiz.
